The Imagen Foundation engages in a variety of initiatives designed to reward individuals and entities that promote positive portrayals of Latinos in all forms of media as well as create educational and employment opportunities for Latinos in the interested in the entertainment industry. Educational Programs

The Imagen Entertainment Industry Speakers Series are workshops designed to help employment seekers put their best foot forward when applying to jobs, specifically in the entertainment industry. However, with workshop themes such as "Successful Interviewing", "Writing an Effective Resume", and more, the workshops are applicable to any individual seeking work in any industry. Awards Programs

The Imagen Awards aims to recognize and reward positive portrayals of Latinos in all forms of media, as well as to encourage and recognize the achievements of Latinos in the entertainment and communications industries. The Imagen Foundation works to create, promote, and enhance opportunities for all Latinos in front of and behind the camera and throughout the entertainment industry, and serve as a liaison between the industry and the Latino community by providing access, education and resources. The Most Powerful & Influential Latinos in the Entertainment Industry (MPIL) is Imagen's way of applauding those individuals who, through their talent, expertise, and diligence of purpose, have earned their way to managing significant levels of responsibility within their organizations. The event recognizes senior level executives of Latino descent who have made a significant impact in their companies and ultimately in the entertainment industry.
