The Imagen Awards: Premier Latino Entertainment Awards

The Imagen Awards aims to recognize and reward positive portrayals of Latinos in all forms of media, as well as to encourage and recognize the achievements of Latinos in the entertainment and communications industries. The Imagen Foundation works to create, promote, and enhance opportunities for all Latinos in front of and behind the camera and throughout the entertainment industry, and serve as a liaison between the industry and the Latino community by providing access, education and resources.

The Imagen Foundation is now accepting submissions for the 2015 Imagen Awards. This year's Awards Ceremony is scheduled for August 21st at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at The Music Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The Awards Ceremony will be produced by Emmy Award-winning director, choreographer Kenny Ortega.

To qualify for the Imagen Awards, entries must have been distributed or aired from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015.

Winners of the 29th Annual Imagen (Spanish for “image”) Awards, honoring positive portrayals of Latinos and Latino culture in entertainment, were announced last night at a star-studded dinner ceremony held in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The Imagen Foundation has announced the nominees for the 29th Annual Imagen (Spanish for “image”) Awards, honoring portrayals of Latinos and Latino cultures in television and film. The awards will be presented at a gala black-tie dinner on Friday evening, August 1st, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel International Ballroom.

The Imagen Awards entry period is now open for all submissions for the 29th Annual Imagen Awards scheduled for August 1, 2014 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Ca. All entries must have been televised in a U.S. market (network, local, cable, first-run syndication), released theatrically or exhibited at a U.S. film festival, or released on the internet between May 1, 2013 and April 30, 2014. 

The deadline for submissions is May 2nd, 2014.
