The Imagen Awards

The Imagen Awards aims to recognize and reward positive portrayals of Latinos in all forms of media, as well as to encourage and recognize the achievements of Latinos in the entertainment and communications industries. The Imagen Foundation works to create, promote, and enhance opportunities for all Latinos in front of and behind the camera and throughout the entertainment industry, and serve as a liaison between the industry and the Latino community by providing access, education and resources.

Today is the last day to get your entries in for the 27th Annual Imagen Awards. Entry qualifying period is from May 1st, 2011 to April 30th, 2012. Go to the Awards page for complete details.

Imagen Awards Qualifying Entry Period and Deadline Extended
March 07, 2012

The Imagen Foundation announced today that the 27th Annual Imagen Awards entry qualifying period as well as the entry deadline have been extended. The qualifying period will be from March 31st to April 30th, 2012.  The entry deadline will be May 1st, 2012. This means that any project that aired, was released or distributed between May 1st, 2011 and April 30th, 2012 is eligible for submission into this year’s competition.

2012 Imagen Awards Call for Entries

The Imagen Foundation is now accepting entries for the 2012 Imagen Awards, scheduled for August 10, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Ca.

To qualify, entries must have been distributed or aired from May 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012.
