16th Annual Influential Latinos in Media
The nomination period for the 16th Annual Influential Latinos in Media is now open!
Objective
The Influential Latinos in Media recognizes and celebrates Latinos across media whose professional work has meaningfully impacted mainstream media and helped shape how content is created, distributed, and experienced by US audiences. Honorees are individuals who contribute daily to the media ecosystem and who, through their expertise, leadership, and sustained commitment, have achieved positions of influence within their organizations and across the industry.
These individuals are influential in expanding opportunities for Latinos in corporate, creative, journalistic, technological, and production sides of media, and in advancing accurate, authentic, and impactful representation of Latino stories and perspectives.
For purposes of this recognition, “media” is understood in its broadest sense and includes film, television, streaming, journalism, digital and social platforms, audio and podcasts, publishing, interactive media, and emerging formats.
Qualifications
Qualifying nominees must meet the following criteria.
- Individuals who manage significant levels of responsibility within their organizations.
- Individuals who have made a demonstrable impact within their organizations and across the media industry.
- Eligible nominees include executives at the level of vice president or individuals with comparable responsibility and scope; showrunners and executive producers; journalists and editors; digital and platform leaders; technologists and innovators; talent agents and managers; legal counsel; and nonprofit executives working within the media ecosystem.
- Individuals who are committed to providing opportunities for Latinos in front and behind the camera.
Influential Latinos Hall of Fame Qualifications
Individuals who meet the following criteria may be inducted into the Influential Latinos Hall of Fame.
- Individuals must be submitted during the current call for submissions to be considered and meet all the Qualifications listed above.
- Individuals must have been named to the Influential Latinos in Media list for 5 or more years.
If the nominee is selected to appear on this year’s list, they will be invited to join the Influential Latinos Hall of Fame.
Who Can Submit
Individuals who meet the above criteria are invited to submit themselves or be submitted by others, such as their companies, colleagues, professional peers, or members of the broader media community.
Submission of a nominee does not guarantee selection to the honoree list.
General Guidelines
In addition to the above Qualifications, all nominee submitted for consideration must provide the following.
- A completed nomination form, available online by clicking here.
- The nominee’s short biography. (150-word count)
- The nominee’s headshot, submitted as a JPG, PNG, or PDF file. A link to the headshot is also acceptable.
- A fee is required for each nominee submitted, according to the Submission Fee schedule below.
Submission Fee
A fee of $150 applies per nominee. Candidates who are selected for this year’s list will be invited to attend the celebratory reception as Imagen’s guests.
The Imagen Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Fees are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Deadline
All nominations must be submitted online by 11:59 pm PST, on Friday, March 13th, 2026.
Selection Confirmation
Individuals who are selected for this year’s Influential Latinos in Media list will receive a letter of notification via email. Individuals must confirm their participation and provide any requested assets by the given deadline to be included in the list and the event’s program book.
Influential Latinos in Media Event
Honorees will be invited to attend the Influential Latinos in Media event, consisting of a reception and presentation of honorees. Only one ticket per honoree is provided. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.

Announcement of Honorees
A press release announcing the full list of honorees will be sent out on the day of the event.
