The Imagen Awards invites Latinos from across the United States to participate in our #WeCount campaign, and show how we count! As the largest minority majority (and growing) in the country, we help drive the economy, are a political force to be reckoned with, and our cultures permeate the mainstream, from business to music to art and food. Yet far too often our significance is overlooked. #WeCount aims at changing the conversation and ensuring that Latinos from all backgrounds from all over the United States are heard.
As we recognize the positive contributions of Latinos to television and film, we invite you to be a part of the 31st Annual Imagen Awards celebration. Grab your phone and send us a 10 second message, telling us who you are, where you live, and why #WeCount matters. Post it on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram and tag it #WeCount #ImagenAwards and your video may be chosen for inclusion in the 31st Annual Imagen Awards, which will be streamed live through Facebook on Friday, September 9th from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.
